ROKR - Why a limit of 100?

ROKR We've been waiting for it. I've been waiting for it. But, wait! 100 songs??? That's it??? (This piece isn't an English grammar delight - I know.) SoB! Sorry, this simply doesn't make sense. The Shuffle is at the lower end of what I would accept regarding total amount of songs you can put on an iTunes compatible device (and even considering my complaint that the lack of screen makes it oft worthless, I like the Shuffle better than what I have learned of the ROKR). From the reading I've done, even if you are to give the ROKR more memory, it won't allow you to go above the 100 song limit. To take a line from perl: this is an unnecessary limit. I can't conceive of who is behind this other than perhaps Apple not wanting a non-Apple device cutting into their iPod revenue. As a consumer, I could care less what the reasons are. Given today's storage capacities and prices, this is the definition of an unnecessary limit.
