Bluetooth SDIO compatible w/ Palm OS 5 - Where and When?

I know this rant seems petty considering all that is going on in the world - and considering many of the new toys (in the area of all-things-wifi) that have come out lately, but please... When is Bluetooth SDIO card that is compatible w/ Palm OS 5 ever going to make it to market??? I have literally been waiting for this for 2 months now (actually over 2 years since BT really made its big debut), but have seen and heard nothing. Can someone comment and tell me whether writing drivers for Bluetooth and Palm OS 5 is that difficult? If not, how much would it cost to pay someone to develop drivers to connect to BT enabled phones and my BT enabled Powerbook? I want to sync my Treo 600 via BT w/ my PowerBook now...

Palm has released just such a card. :) don't know about how to SYNC over the bluetooth yet, thought, since the HotSync manager seems to want to use the USB cable. but, i'm sure this IS possible somehow.

if you figure out how, please let me know. :)

I wrote back to Kyle (for those of you who might have read the comment) and clarified that the card he saw is really only for OS 4. Therefore, those of us who wish the BT SDIO card would come out for phones/pda's like the Treo 600, we are still without a solution.

mmeo:

I am about to get a treo600 and a bmw w/bt would really like to pop in a bt card but nobodys talking about when or if it will be possible as you mentioned i can understand if it is or isn't going to be, but at least some manuf should say the silence is dissapointing

Jason K:

I feel your pain. Treo 610 will have Bluetooth, but a lot of good that does me. :(
